When I first started high school I looked at the final years and though, wow they look so old. But when it was my turn, I didn't think we looked anywhere near as old as they did. Surely we didn't, we hadn't changed a bit. It's only when I compare photos that I feel old. Photos are our constant reminders of age and I really love pieces that investigate this. Wasting time today I discovered the work of Tom Hussey. His fantastic series, Reflections, portrays old people looking at their younger selves in the mirror. They're something magical about them that made me stare for what seemed like hours. Each image has a story to tell, a story of a life.
